What's My JuiceBox?
It's your own, personal area on JuiceCaster.com. It contains your Profile, JuiceCasts, Friends, Mail, Favorites, Locker, Communities, Comments and your Account info.
What is a JuiceCast?
A JuiceCast is any picture, video, audio or text message that you create and distribute over the JuiceCaster Network, regardless of how or where you capture, send, display or share it.
How do I create a JuiceCast from my computer?
Log in and click Create from the top navigation bar. Create a JuiceCast using your webcam and/or whatever you use to record audio. You can also upload cool, original files from your hard drive. Additionally, the Create page has an easy text JuiceCast ("TextCast") option. After creating your JuiceCast, give it a title and make it searchable by entering keywords. Click Add to My JuiceCast, select Preview or skip to Publish and your JuiceCast will immediately post to the network.
Your JuiceCaster download to your Brew handset on Cellular South, Cricket, Midwest Wireless or other Brew operators lets you view JuiceCasts without signing up. However, to create JuiceCasts, get your own MediaBox (so you can put your JuiceCasts right to your page on MySpace, Xanga, Blogger, Friendster and more), connect with friends, make comments and more, you first need to sign up for JuiceCaster. That is a simple and fast process. On your phone, run JuiceCaster, then select Admin from the main menu, then select Join and enter the information requested.
What are Public, Private and Draft JuiceCasts?
After you create a JuiceCast, you have different sharing options. Public JuiceCasts are viewable by everyone (members and non-members). Private JuiceCasts are viewable by the friends you select. Drafts are only viewable by you.
How do I share a JuiceCast with friends?
When you view a JuiceCast, you'll see the Share this JuiceCast option. Click to enter the mobile numbers or email addresses of your friends.
How do you comment on someone's JuiceCast?
Once you're logged in, each JuiceCast you view will have a section for comments. This is a great opportunity to voice witty remarks and opinions as well as to learn more about a member. You can add text or create an audio/video comment in the form of a JuiceCast Comment.
How do you view profiles and JuiceCasts?
Both members and non-members can view profiles and JuiceCasts. Click Browse to set criteria and shop around or select Search to locate specific members and JuiceCasts. Plus, you can access Featured Members, Today's Most Popular JuiceCasts and Recent JuiceCasts from the home page. To request Friends and mark favorites, you need to log in.
How can others find my JuiceCast?
While creating your JuiceCast, you will be asked to provide keywords that describe what you are submitting. This is called 'tagging.' For example, a video of your friends at a Gorillaz concert in New York City may be tagged as 'Gorillaz, concert, music, New York City'. People searching for related content can type in any of the keywords and will find your JuiceCast.
How can I find my friends on JuiceCaster?
You can search for your friend using email addresses or first and last names if your friends have allowed that information to be searchable.
What is the JuiceCaster MediaBox, and how do I get it?
The JuiceCaster MediaBox is a free mini-application used to display JuiceCasts on any web page. You may insert a JuiceCaster MediaBox into as many web pages as you like - they will all be updated simultaneously as you create new JuiceCasts.
To get a JuiceCaster MediaBox, go to your profile page and click Get JuiceCaster Media Box under My Profile. Once you get the MediaBox Embed Code - essentially a short piece of HTML - simply copy and paste it into MySpace, Xanga, Blogger, GooglePages, BlackPlanet or virtually any personal page.
Is my mobile phone compatible with JuiceCaster?
If your phone or device is not listed on the Get JuiceCaster Mobile registration page, please revisit our site frequently, as we are adding new phone models and mobile devices as quickly as we can. In the meantime, you can email/MMS your files to: yourmobilenumber@juicecaster.com (i.e. 1234567890@juicecaster.com). Whatever you add as the Subject line will be set as the JuiceCast's title.
How do I get JuiceCaster Mobile to work after downloading it?
After you have installed the JuiceCaster Mobile application on your phone, you can either choose Learn More or Launch. Learn More offers quick tips on creating and viewing JuiceCasts, as well as an easy way to get the JuiceCaster MediaBox. Once you launch the application, log in and you can start using all the cool features.
Why isn't JuiceCaster Mobile working?
Although all web-enabled phones can download the application you may need to contact your mobile network to make sure you have the right data/Internet access plan for the application to work properly.
Can I create more than one profile from one mobile phone number?
Currently, our policy is one account per mobile number, but we're working to allow multiple accounts per number.
How do I change my password?
During registration on JuiceCaster.com, enter the case-sensitive password sent to your mobile phone. You'll be able to customize your password on the screen that follows.
